About Two Tit Farm
Hey there! I’m Amber, and together with my husband, Dar, I run Two Tit Farm on the five-acre property where he grew up.
The farm started with a 20 x 20 raised garden bed that we built together the first spring after I moved in. We filled it with cherry tomatoes and marigolds, then covered it all with clover. Before long, we were growing enough seedlings to share with our community.
Today, two of those five acres are dedicated to cultivating veggies and flowers, while the remaining three are being restored to wildlife habitat.
In 2026, we welcomed our first flock of twelve laying hens to the farm. Their eggs will soon be available, and their manure helps feed our compost system, returning nutrients to the soil that supports our flowers and gardens.
We’re also shaping portions of the property into beautiful, natural spaces that photographers can enjoy. Our hope is that the farm becomes more than a place where things are grown; we want it to be a place where people can connect with nature, celebrate meaningful moments, and experience the beauty of a healthy landscape.
The farm’s name comes from one of our favorite visitors: the tufted titmouse. These curious little birds are regular companions while we work outdoors, and they represent much of what we hope to encourage here: a landscape where people and wildlife can flourish side by side.
